Journal of Rural Development (JRD) is published quarterly in March, June, September and December by the National Institute of Rural Development.
The Journal aims at promoting study and research in rural development. It seeks to uncover links between the social sciences and rural development and to forge and strengthen them where necessary. It provides a forum for exchange of views between various social science disciplines and the policymakers, planners and executives concerned with rural development. The views expressed in the articles published in the Journal are those of the contributors and the NIRD does not hold itself responsible for them.
